یک فکر در “adalight 50 channel effect / WS2801 / lcd 40″ / Prismatik soft”

  1. This could be highly advanced if you don’t have any programming skills, but
if you do, it should be remarkably easy. If you want to learn programming,
I can recommend you the video tutorials in java from thenewboston. His
methods are pretty quick, and most of what I need to know to pass my first
year’s programming subjects at university is explained in his beginner and
intermediate tutorials. Those two should give you more than enough skill to
    build a system like this.

  2. Hi, I’m not sure, none of the forum users have tested leds like these yet.
I think these leds have different control so they won’t work with adalight
code but I’m no expert so I might be wrong! Try to find “12mm Diffused RGB
LED Pixels 5V WS2801″ on ebay and take a look at STRANDS (not strips) with
۲۵ or 50 pieces. These strands work fine and it’s easier to set a proper
space between leds which is quite important feature. Correct distance
between them should be 4-5 cm.

  3. Most likely he used an Arduino microcontroller. They are relatively easy to
(re)program. If you make the Arduino control the LEDs according to input it
gets from USB, and send that info in the correct format over USB to the
arduino, you’re half way there. Then you need to write a program that runs
on your computer and decides which LED should be what colour. With little
programming skill you could easily make a program in java that takes
portions of the screen and calculates the average value

  4. of each portion. You would get the average colour of that portion. That is
how I would do it. Other languages than java could also be used, but I
don’t have any experience with others. I already have a program ready that
calculates averages of the border of a screen, but I am uncertain if it is
fast enough. My program also doesn’t take black borders into account yet,
so it still has a few drawbacks that still need to be resolved. No idea if
this is how swissarmy666 did it, though.

  5. Of course. You can also set minimum luminosity effect which means that if
there’s a dark scene leds illuminate with very gentle white light (like
ambilight effect by Philips). Read information above, there is a link to
software which you can check even if you don’t have hardware connected.

  6. Looks very nice, I think you have managed to set it just right. The
response time seems excellent as well. Can you en-light us with some more
technical details? OS, CPU, Hardware and so on?? Looking forward to make
one myself in the future.. Great stuff
